This is a Miami, FL made Simmons Model #1515 vintage folder knife with Japanese Stainless Steel. Simmons Scope and Optics company made 6 knives in their name, all I believe made in Japan in the late 70’s or early 80’s. This knife has stood the test of time, and just keeps going. It has a 3 1/2 ” blade, and overall the knife is 4 3/8″ closed. Wood handles, laynard hole with SS Bolsters. When locked in full position, there is no wobble. When closed, there is a slight give side to side, but not very much to make any difference whatsoever in the performance of opening/closing. Be careful as it is sharp from the last sharpening.
