The Family Tree 1997 Antique Red Cattle Bone 4 1/8 Trapper pocket knife has two pairs of beautiful polished Clip/Spey point blades each with no etching on the blades. Clip blade Tangs have “C. Platts’ Sons, Eldred, PA” on the front and “1997” on the rear side. According to the certificates, there were 100 made. Master Cutlers handcrafted this knife with over 240 hand operations involved to finishing one knife. This has been kept in a brown two-piece box since acquired, but has been taken out several times to inspect and admire the craftsmanship. In my opinion, it is in excellent condition nearing ‘like new’.
