The Case 1990 Classic Brown Rogers Jigged Cattle Bone 62046J Moose (Swell Center) pocket knife has two mirror-like polished spear/clip point blades with ‘”XX” etched onto the spear point blade, just above the tang. The main blade tang etchings are “Case Brothers Bradford, PA 19 USA 90” and “Tested XX 62046J”. The secondary clip does not have any etchings. This pattern is represented on Page 84-A in the Case Classics book with a production quantity of 1,000. This comes with the Nickel Silver Bowtie shield, dimpled and single fluted bolsters that is etched with Serial Number 0388 in the front, and brass liners ,with brass pins. It is 3 5/8″ closed, 9″ open, and weighs 3.4 oz. This has been kept in the original Case box (No certificate) since acquired, but has been taken out several times to inspect and admire the craftsmanship. In my opinion, it is in excellent condition nearing ‘like new’.
