Overall length is 11 3/4″ with 7” blade, and weighs 14.3 oz. Sheath weighs an additional 5.8 oz. BESS Sharpeness test came in sharp with a score of 334 (See last pic), which is super cut from 1/4″ sheet.
This behemoth of a Drop Point from Behring Made© is hand forged from original 1/4″ thick 5160 spring steel (Forging will reduce thickness by about 1/8″ to narrower near tip) sheet and it measures 7″ from tip to guard with a razor sharp hollow grind, hammermarks and our forced patina blued finish with the double ghost skulls. The blued steel guard is soldered in place above black fiber, green micarta and copper spacers in addition the the WWII style stack of horsehide leather that is capped with steel and pinned through the tang. The overall length measures 11 3/4″ and this one comes with a custom sheath from Rowe’s Leather in Hope Arkansas that was handmade for a snug fit.
