Each features BG-42 high performance steel blades, nickel silver bolsters, and a stainless steel liner that locks to keep the blade open when cutting.
John Russell Case led his cutlery company for fifty years. Under his steady hand, Case would build knives for our service-men in two World Wars, survive the Great Depression, and grow to become the dominant American manufacturer of cutlery and hand-made pocketknives.
Today, more than fifty years after his death, the spirit of John Russell Case lives on at W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company. We know he would be as proud of the SlimLock® as we are to put his name on it.
Genuine bone has been perfectly shaped to fit against the nickel silver bolsters and then riveted to the stainless steel liner. A liner that also locks to keep the blade open when cutting for added security. One final adjustment of the precision-locking pivot screw (under the bolster) and Case cutlers make the opening and closing action of the SlimLock® as smooth as can be.
