These are Mint Pairs showing the end roll of the coil on both beginning and end of the roll. One 3¢ is missing. The one 3¢ is a shortened end.
The only way to obtain such a set today would be to (1) find an old-time philatelist who compiled such a set, or (2) locate complete coil rolls of all the denominations. Either alternative is highly improbable. These came from an old collector 30-40 yrs ago. Centering runs from Very Good to Superb. One cannot picky with this set. If they do come on the market, and you were to buy each whole roll to get the leader and trailer strips, it would cost about $20,000+.
There are a total of 25 different pairs with both ends.
