With all of us at Ruana Knives having grown up with fishing rods in our hands since we could walk, we have always had a passion for fishing. That fact, combined with Montana\u2019s exceptional angling opportunities (some almost literally within a stone\u2019s throw from our shop) led to the development of the Ruana Americana Fisherman<\/b>. Based on our traditional Steelhead model and originally created for fishing, we have found this blade works well on anything from a 6\u201d Brook Trout to a 6 point bull elk or any outdoor endeavor where a good cutting tool is needed.<\/font><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Inspired by designs from 75 years of knife making at our small Ruana Knife Works shop in Bonner, Montana, we are proud to offer our new line of Ruana Americana Knives. Our project and idea for this line of knives was in the works for numerous years, and come to fruition in December of 2012 in our joint venture with TOPS Knives of Idaho Falls, Idaho. We are grateful to work with the fine folks at TOPS to produce high quality, completely American Made knives. Ruana Americana knives are tested and backed by us and our partners at TOPS with the budget conscious knife collector and user in mind and are designed to our specs with the standards customers have come to expect from all Ruana Knives.<\/font><\/p>\n
